~ Shades Of White In My Work Room ~

White nourishes my soul... it is calm and serene and easy to look at. My workroom is filled with many shades of whites... from painted furniture, stacked up old and ornate frames all painted in pastels and whites, to old handmade lace and monogrammed linens and of course ironstone china and tons of white pillows.

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite things that are in my workroom. I love being in this room... to create, relax with a cup of tea or just to play around with my "treasures". I love changing my vignettes often and have fresh flowers, mostly roses in this room as often  as I can.

Pear blossoms from my garden, and vintage linens.
lots and lots of vintage lace and crochets.
Mail from the 40's. I just love these!
Vintage white clothing are some of my favorite to display or hang on a vintage hanger.
These are my true treasures. Needle point and crochet  were made by my Greek Armenian grandma and her sister. Picture of my aunt and great grandma in Greece circa 30's. I'm fortunate to have many pieces of their hand work as well as my aunts. Also fortunate my grandma took her time to teach me and my sister many of the things she knew including Greek cooking. How I love and miss her <3

I am just crazy about white pillows.

These are just a few of my favorite whites. Thank you for your visit.
Wishing everyone a beautiful day, Angela

  1. oh gosh your photos are so very beautiful! Looks like right out of a magazine! The pear blossoms are wonderful and I was wondering if they have a scent? I am willing to bet they do!

I am in love with white too! Oh and I just took some chair fabric off of a chair I found last Summer and it reminds me of your chair!
